The Student Financial Aid Office at Kent State University is seeking an Education Abroad Area Student Assistant, who is Work Study eligible (this does not include international students) and can work throughout the summer, fall and spring semesters. Interested applicants MUST be able to work over the summer.
The student assistant will be working alongside the education abroad counselor to help in the processing of the study abroad/away student applicants. Duties include but are not limited to:
• Accurately review and input data into the University’s mainframe (Banner)
• Process mailings
• Filing and organization of documents
• Review reports
• Help out other areas within the office as needed

Skills |
Ideal candidates have strong data entry skills, are quick learners, and are able to work with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail is a must. Previous experience working in an office setting preferred but not required. Additionally, the ability to communicate effectively with members of the office staff and supervisors regarding problems, class schedules, or other issues is imperative. Previous study abroad or international experience is preferred, but not required. Punctuality and dependability are essential. Open to freshmen-junior level.
