PLEASE NOTE: The questions below are used to determine which scholarship(s) you are eligible to apply for using this application. It is separate from the questions used to search (or explore) Kent State University's online scholarship database.

  The Kent State University Student Financial Aid Scholarship Application contains approximately 50 scholarships for which students can apply using this single application. Please be prepared to complete the application in its entirety including the personal statement and any additional questions/requirements. Once submitted, you will not have the ability to edit your application, apply for additional scholarships, or complete the additional questions/requirements at a later date. Scholarships will be awarded based on available funding.

Please read the following information:
  1. In order to be considered for the scholarships included on this application, you must:
    • Be fully admitted to, or are a continuing student in good standing at, Kent State University
    • Submit this application in its entirety with the correct KSU Banner ID number
    • Complete the personal statement and any additional scholarship requirements and/or questions
    • For scholarships that require the demonstration of financial need, you must complete the FAFSA and we must have your results on file by the scholarship deadline.
  2. Complete the 2018-2019 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) if you have not already done so. Priority processing deadline is December 1 for Kent State University. Complete the FAFSA online at www.fafsa.gov. Be sure to designate Kent State University to receive your FAFSA results (Federal School Code: 003051). Failure to complete the FAFSA will eliminate you from consideration for need-based scholarships.
