Salem Community Foundation Tuition Grant Program
Description:
In order to qualify for the tuition grant program, you must be a permanent resident of the City of Salem or Perry Township for at least one year, be pursuing your associate or first bachelor degree and attend Kent State University at Salem. This program is for the fall and spring semesters only – summer session classes are not included in the grant. If you are a new freshman, there is no minimum GPA requirement. Current Kent State University at Salem students and transfer students must have a 2.00 cumulative GPA. Early Admission students are not eligible for this grant. The maximum award is 15 percent of in-state tuition costs for classes at Kent State University at Salem. This application must be returned to the Kent State University at Salem Student Services Office no later than the first Friday of each semester. The award is renewable. Students must submit a new application each semester.
