Kent State University/Akron Branch of NAACP Scholarship
Description:
Available to an incoming freshmen student who is a member of an underrepresented population in higher education (African American, Hispanic or Native American), who are currently attending high school within the Akron Public School District, or a student who lives within the Akron Public School District and attends a private or parochial school. The student must intend to enroll full-time at the Kent Campus. Minimum 3.35 cumulative high school GPA is required. Student must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at www.FAFSA.gov and have Kent State University listed as a school to receive the FAFSA results. Student must submit a complete application by the deadline to be considered.
